Terms and Conditions for VISTEC Admission Applications

By accessing and using the VISTEC Admission Website, the applicant agrees to be bound by and comply with these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. Usage of any service within the system constitutes a legally binding acceptance of these terms.

Usage of this system is restricted to individuals applying for graduate programs at VISTEC. Applicants must provide accurate and current personal information. The institute reserves the right to restrict access to any user who violates these terms.

Applicants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their user accounts and are liable for all activities occurring under their registered profile.

By submitting an application, the applicant expressly consents to VISTEC verifying their educational background through third parties, including the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI).

An application is considered officially submitted only when all mandatory fields are completed, required documents are uploaded, and the application fee (if applicable) is confirmed as paid in full.

• Liability: An application fee of 20 USD (or equivalent in Thai Baht) per application is mandatory for applicants of non-Thai nationality.
• Waiver Eligibility: The fee is automatically waived for any applicant (regardless of nationality) who has successfully graduated from an accredited educational institution located in Thailand.

• Documentation: Due to the high volume of applications, applicants are strongly encouraged to attach valid English proficiency test scores (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, or CU-TEP).
• Screening Advantage: These scores will significantly facilitate the Admissions Committee in the screening process and enhance the evaluation of the applicant's academic readiness.

• Zero-Tolerance Policy: VISTEC maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding the falsification of documents or misrepresentation of facts.
• Plagiarism & Collusion: Plagiarism (presenting others' work as your own) or collusion (unauthorized collaboration on individual assignments) is strictly prohibited.
• Permanent Blacklist: Any breach of integrity, including providing fraudulent data to wrongfully obtain a fee waiver, will result in the application being immediately rejected and the applicant being permanently blacklisted from all future VISTEC admission cycles in perpetuity.

• Standard 24-Hour Rule: General payments must be completed within 24 hours of submission to enter the screening application process.
• Closing Day Deadline: For applications submitted on the final day of the admission intake period, payment must be completed by 11:59 PM (23:59) Thai Local Time on that same day.
• Payment Procedures: Registration is complete only upon full payment. Applicants submitting up to two (2) applications may pay both fees in a single transaction but must attach the same slip to both Application IDs in the system.
• Status Progression: The status remains "Pending for Payment" until payment is verified, then updates to "Application Submitted."

• Late Payment: Payments after the 24-hour window require an email to admission@vistec.ac.th with proof of transfer.
• Notification: Applications will be manually unlocked within 48 hours after verification, and applicants will be notified via email once the verification process is complete.

• Competitive Selection: Admission is highly competitive; non-selection may be due to academic cut-offs or the overall strength of the applicant pool.
• Finality of Decisions: VISTEC reserves the exclusive right to make all final admission considerations. All decisions are final, and no process for appeal or request re-evaluation will be permitted. Furthermore, the institute is under no obligation to provide individual feedback regarding the results of any application.
• All admission outcomes are determined at the sole discretion of the VISTEC Admissions Committee, and such decisions will be considered final and binding. Due to the highly competitive nature of the selection process and the significant volume of applications, VISTEC does not provide an appeal mechanism, nor can it offer detailed individual feedback or specific justifications regarding non-selection.

• Strict Non-Refundability: All application fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, regardless of the admission outcome or the stage of the application process reached.
• Overpayment Policy: Any overpayment or excess funds transferred beyond the required fee may be eligible for a refund. However, such refunds are subject to the following conditions:
• Case-by-Case Consideration: Each request will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed.
• Authorization: All refunds require formal review and approval by an authorized official of the institute.
• Evidence Required: The applicant must provide valid evidence and supporting documentation (e.g., original payment slips or transaction records) to substantiate the overpayment claim.
• Processing Duration: The refund process involves administrative and financial procedures, which may take significant time to finalize.
• Transaction Fees: The applicant is solely responsible for any bank charges, transfer fees, or currency conversion costs incurred during the refund process. These costs will be deducted from the total overpaid amount, resulting in a partial refund of the excess funds.

• Insurance Disclaimer: VISTEC is not liable for any travel costs, health issues, accidents, personal injuries, or loss of and damage to personal property incurred by applicants during the application process, including during travel to and from interview or examination venues. Applicants are strongly advised to obtain personal insurance that covers health, travel, and any potential liabilities.
